September 5, 2008, 12:36 amI appreciate the help I have got from your site in making my nightly listening smooth. It is where I obtain selected oldies, which really brighten my listening. “Nakoma na mbanda na mama…” by Franco, which I have looked for, for long is a great song. Now I have its shortcut icon save on my desktop. And I listen to it regularly.
Question:
Do you have the following songs anywhere in yous system:
1. “Georgette” by Franco
2. “Nipeleke kwa Baba” by Nuta Jazz Band
3. “Sigalame” by Les Wanyika?
Also there is an old song that I used to hear from James Onyango Joel’s Zilizopendwa. It used to go something like this. (I am not a speaker of Lingala). But I used to imagine its name is “Mado”. I dont know who it is by.
“Nakeyi kotambola moke. Na basi kini ye komi nde likambo.
Mado oh salanga nini ee.
Soki olingi yo lobelanga.
Motema pasi e diye. Na banzi Mado hoyee.
Nasala nini ee diye. Mado oo hawa ya mobali ee…….Anyone out there please help me.
